Spring Hairstyles To Turn Heads

By Asgar Saboo

Asgarboo.com up do with flowersWith Spring almost upon us, there has never been a better time to change your look and experiment with a new hairstyle. Hairstylist to the stars Asgar has put together four of this season’s most sought after styles, guaranteed to cause hair envy wherever you go!

Retro Waves: The epitome of fuss-free hair, these barely-there waves will complement the floral, feminine prints of Spring. Begin with clean, dry hair and separate into four sections, two on the top of the head and two on the bottom. Start with the bottom sections and split each section again, using a curling wand gently curl each section holding the hair round the curlers for 30-40 seconds. Separate each section gently, using your fingers to loosen the curl and create soft waves.

Fresh Out of Water: The slick, shiny ‘wet-hair’ look is the perfect style for night or day. Start by combing your hair back while it’s damp, then spray hairspray until the hair is almost wet from it, add clips behind the ears to help the hair stay in place all evening. Once it’s dried you’re left with a slicked back effect with no sign of the waxed doll effect, and you’re ready to go.

Bouncy Blowouts: Big blowouts and bouncy curls will ensure you have the perfect hair day. Channel your inner Kate Middleton and start from the bottom, pinning the top layer of hair out of your way. Using a round brush, take the hair from the root and run the brush down each strand, moving the blow-dryer over the brush as you go. Then, using a flat iron glide over each strand stopping before the tip so the hair gains a slightly tousled effect and you’re left with a high-style, low fuss look.

Playful Accessories: Ornate and playful accessories are turning ordinary ponytails and buns into works of art this Spring. Trim your up-do’s with accoutrements such as bold flowers, as seen recently at Dolce & Gabbana, or use stunning golden accessories to brighten up any hair up-do.
