Sandwell and West Birmingham Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) celebrated the achievements and dedication of all staff delivering patient care in general practice at an inaugural awards ceremony.
Dr Haque’s Practice at the Primary Care Centre won the award for the practice that had made a significant contribution to the local area (Pioneers for Health Locality).
The judges said that, “Dr Haque and his team go above and beyond the call of duty for their patients every day. Dr Haque’s name came up in a number of different award nominations for the outstanding contribution he has made to local healthcare.”
Speaking at the awards ceremony, Prof Nick Harding said: “Tonight has been an opportunity to celebrate all that we do well and congratulates individuals, teams and practice that go that extra mile for their patients. I’m very proud of our all achievements in primary care and it is a priority of the CCG to continue to fully support all our practice teams.”
