Faryal Makhdoom the 23 year old, married to Bolton boxer Amir Khan, has launched a YouTube channel which will also feature make-up and beauty tutorials. The first 58 second video clip sees the mother of one introduce herself to viewers and show her playful side by jumping out to ‘boo’ her unsuspecting husband at their Bolton home.
Although not a professional make-up artist, Faryal has become a global icon for desi woman for her flawless make-up application. She recently also revealed plans to unveil a make-up and shoe line very soon.
When Amir Khan married his American sweetheart Faryal in a series of lavish ceremonies in New York and UK, she soon developed a massive international following of her own through social media channels. It was only a matter of time before the 23 year old launched her own YouTube channel, and much to the delight of her enthusiasts, that time has arrived. In her first video, Faryal speaks to her viewers and divulges what is to come in subsequent videos, which includes an insight into her life as the wife of a famous boxer, a mother to her baby daughter Lamaisah, glimpses of her rich lifestyle, as well as beauty and make-up tutorials. After just one day, her channel has already reached almost 17,000 subscribers, reflecting her avid fan base. Having said that, Faryal has come under public scrutiny and criticism from what some of her followers call ‘the religious police’, who have slated her for the way she dresses, as well as for some of the images she has uploaded on her Instagram. Despite dealing with such negativity, it is good to know that the mother of one has remained unfazed and will continue to showcase her personality within the public realm.
