Launches her new book 101 things to do with glitter

Momtaz was born into a Bengali family with a mother who was a seamstress and a father who was in her words ‘Big’ on saving money, and so he liked to make everything himself. This is where Momtaz’s passion and flair for craft began and where she grew into a craft multi-tasking guru.
After studying for a post graduation degree in magazine journalism, she found herself looking after sick mother and its during this time Momtaz decided to start making things which further developed into a career when she started working for a craft magazine, which opened the door to the craft industry for her, which consequently developed making Momtaz the craft expert she is today.
Today Momtaz is more then just a writer, she is a crafts entrepreneur, making her own Bollywood inspired jewellery and selling them from various market stalls, teaching others how to make things from something from nothing, teaching men and boys how to sew on a button to more complicated craftsmanship’s, she would like to evolve and take her love for all things craft to the masses and is open to extending her portfolio to presenting and designing, the sky’s the limit.
Momtaz has already published one successful book on Bollywood craft, and how to recreate the 60’s retro of Bollywood film sets to Bollywood sci-fi artistry.
She is so passionate about her craft that Momtaz is working on her third book 101 things to do with Ribbon.
101 things to do with glitter, is a book about bling, how to re-create, recycle, save money and make things for yourself. A book described by Momtaz has truly universal and for everyone, especially those who love to recreate and make things from scratch.

Momtaz explains making your own things saves money something that’s very important to her, and said 10g of glitter costs less then £1, and you can re-use it, just like you did at school.
