Anthony Joshua criticised by anti Muslim bigots

By Ryan Paul

Anthony Joshua uploaded a picture on his twitter of him praying in a mosque with 2 friends. However it created a hate filled attack on the current IBF heavyweight champion. Many anti-Muslim bigots targeted him for appearing to support the religion of Islam and have ludicrously said they have turned their support to Klitschko ahead of their super fight in April.

On the other hand AJ’s diehard fans have stood by the champion tweeting to him ‘We are worried about this generation and the future of our children ignore them champ.’ A lot of fans even pointed out that the late, great Muhammad Ali was Muslim, meaning these bigots should not like or support him either.

Although he was pictured praying in a mosque, Joshua claims he is not religious and does not follow any religion, he then went on to tweet that prayer is a form of meditation which is a necessity in the build of a fight.

It is such a shame to see a sporting great being treated so disrespectfully and it is a further disappointment that today’s society still show such bigotry.
