British Asian boxer Amir Khan is part of the lineup for I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, smash hit reality TV show broadcast on ITV, based in Brisbane, Australia. After reconciling ties with his wife, Faryal Makhdoom, Khan is now featuring in the infamous
jungle.
After his defeat to Canelo Alvarez in May 2016, Khan is training for another boxing come back next year. Khan’s reply to whether his jungle antics would disturb his
training: “This is my first time in Australia to see what is going on and I am not scared of anything. “I always keep in shape wherever I am. I always train. I am going to go for
a nice jog.”
“I want to fight three times next year. King of the jungle? I dunno about that but king of the ring suits me better. I want to fight three times in 2018, starting in February, then again just before Ramadan. I am always training, and I am gonna be training in the jungle too.”
Alongside Khan, the other celebrities in the jungle include footballing legend Denis Wise, Hollyoaks actor James Lomas, Jennie McAlpine from Coronation Street, YouTuber Jack Maynard, Vanessa White from The Saturdays, Rebekah Vardy, wife of footballer Jamie Vardy. The camp features a white-coloured stately home in the bush, pools, a windmill and the suspension bridge connected to the tree house, where the
show hosts Ant and Dec are presenting the show.
The celebrities will take part in Bushtucker Trials. These will test the participant’s stamina and willpower. The show is on the air for three weeks from 19th November 2017. Tune in to find out who will take over the reigns as the new King or Queen of the jungle.
