Israel is nothing more than mosquito which cannot see the broad horizon of Iranian Nation.’ Dr. Ahmedi Nejad says while talking in north eastern Irani province of Khurasan. (Fars News). This is not for the first time that Dr. Nejad is expressing anti-Israel and anti Zionist views as a president of 78 million Irani people. In a speech at conference in Tehran in year 2005, with the title ‘The World without Zionism’, Dr. Ahmedi Nejad says, “They (Jews) have invented a myth that Jews were massacred and place this above God, religions and the prophets. The West has given more significance to the myth of the genocide of the Jews, even more significant than God, religion, and the prophets, (it) deals very severely with those who deny this myth but does not do anything to those who deny God, religion, and the prophet. If you have burned the Jews, why don’t you give a piece of Europe, the United States, Canada or Alaska to Israel? Our question is, if you have committed this huge crime, why should the innocent nation of Palestine pay for this crime? (Source: Wikipedia; Translation by CNN – Dec 2005). Such statements are not new for Israel and the World. Iran and Israel always release statements against each other. Israel also threatens Iran at many occasions. On 27 July 2009, Defence Minister of Israel, Ehud Barak, warned Iran. During a press conference with Robert Gates, the US Defence Secretary, in Jerusalem, he said: “We clearly believe that no option should be removed from the table. This is our policy; we mean it. We recommend to others to take the same position, but we cannot dictate it to anyone.” Israel’s Ambassador to USA, Gabriela Shalev called Iran the “biggest supporter of terrorism” during a special UN Security Council session held to discuss the situation in the Middle East. Meir Dagan is a former Mossad Chief, he called the possible Israeli attach on Iran’s nuclear assets “the stupidest thing I have ever heard”.
Two other former Mossad chiefs also supported this comment of Dagan. The question is that what is the bone of contention between these two states? Why they are trying to wipe the opponent off the map of the World? Islamic Republic of Iran and the State of Israel are throwing bombs of threatening statements on each other. Reasons vary from time to time and era to era, the foremost bone of contention is the ideological conflict between the two nations. Iran is always against the ‘Zionist Regime’. After the Islamic revolution in Iran in late 70s, Irani government started releasing statements against Israel’s invasion in Palestinian territory. Iran and many other Muslim states including Pakistan have not yet accepted Israel as an independent state and they call her ‘disputed Zionist Regime’. Iran always said that Israel is an illegal state and it should be wiped off from the map of the World. No doubt the state of Israel is still disputed and they are declaring Palestine’s land as their own. How is this possible that two different states of different religions, different ideologies, different cultures and different history have got one common city as capital of the state? This is really a funny and strange situation either I have ever heard. Israel is in military conflict with Palestinian Armed groups – Al-Fatah, Hamas and Islamic Jehad. According to Israeli officials, Iran is supporting these troops against Israel and Israel has warned so many times in this matter. Whether or not these are ground facts, its still a question mark on Israeli government. Iran’s nuclear plan is playing a very vital role in world politics. All other nuclear powers, except Pakistan, are of the view that Iran’s nuclear programme is a threat to their security and solidarity. US is the amongst the best friends of Israel since its illegitimate birth. US, along with UNO is supporting Israel in almost every matter like a big brother. But Israeli government is of the view that Israel will not give its fate and future in the hands of others – not even its best friends. US is currently trying to stop Israel to attack Iran but Israel said that we will attack Iran if we feel we should, no matter what US and others think about it. Just over 8000 square miles of area covered, although a major part of it is still disputed, Israel itself is an un-announced nuclear power, equipped with nuclear and advanced weapons. According to an Israeli newspaper ‘Arutz Sheva’, a former Military intelligence chief Amos Yaldin says that ‘military action in Iran would be less dangerous than if Iran acquires a nuclear bomb’. Giving such statements is itself a threat to the whole world because if Israel attacks on Iran, then it would not be a simple war. It would the start of WWIII and that will lead this world to destruction and disaster. Which way they are leading the world? Talking for peace, love and solidarity in UN sessions and threatening other countries in front of media, this is totally a bi-faced attitude. This world is going through very critical chapter of the history. On one side there is advancement in technology for the benefit of mankind and to bring peace and love. Right at the same time the same forces are spreading fear, hatred and threats to mankind with the use of the same technology. Why not all the leaders of the world playing role in sorting out Iran-Israel issue which is leading this world towards WWIII. This world is like a ship for us, we all are on board and this ship is going through the deadliest parts of the sea nowadays, we need to take it out. Trying to harm others will harm everybody and it will drown deep in the waters very soon. Blaming others for all the misdeeds and to fight is not a solution. All countries should sit down to find out a very peaceful and bloodless solution to such type of political matters.
