Amit Kainth’s gift to business

By Aneesa Malik

In a truly inspiring story of hard work, determination and spiritual belief comes a highly successful entrepreneur and motivational speaker, Amit Kainth. Unlike his peers, at the tender age of 25, Amit set up a recruitment agency for financial services and become a millionaire in just under two years. Having lost it all and regained it two fold, Amit shared these beliefs on how to be successful in a motivational book entitled, The Gift. It preaches a philosophy of how to be more prosperous- not only financially but more importantly, emotionally. This is his story.

My early years

I went to university and my father wanted me to do accounts, but it turned out that I failed the degree. My dad turned around and said, ‘We spent a lot of money for you to go and get a degree and I want you to stay there until you get a proper degree.’ Luckily, I managed to switch my course to Financial Services, without having to repeat the whole three years. That degree was more related to banking and I managed to get a 2:1. So, after my degree, I went back home to Leicester where I was ready to join the family business. My dad basically said no because my brothers were already involved in it and also because he spent so much money on my degree, he wanted me to go out and make something of myself.

The-Gift-vfSo I started applying for jobs and I was offered a position in a NatWest bank in Loughborough as an assistant to a premium banking manager. It sounds plush, but it wasn’t. I started on £12, 000 a year, but I wanted to progress and become a manager. Unfortunately I couldn’t because they said I was too young; it was very frustrating because any time I wanted to progress, there was always something in the way. So I found a course with HSBC to become a Financial Advisor and within a year I had that role. I was 24 years old and earning around £30, 000 a year, but I still wasn’t happy.

Mid- career changes

So I began researching in to franchising businesses- Pizza Hut, McDonalds, you name it. I was looking into all of them. That’s when I came across a franchise opportunity with a business called C&A International. They wanted £35,000 to set up any franchise model and I needed around £15, 000 earning capital. I went for the interview and they reluctantly accepted me-because I was so young.

I remember sitting my mother and father down and asking them for £50, 000, but they weren’t having any of it. I went to banks and tried other avenues, but it wasn’t happening. I kept persisting with my parents and after 4 months, they eventually gave in.

I took my knowledge from banking and applied it to set up a recruitment agency for financial services. There I was- in one office, with one telephone line and one desk. I just went like a rocket shell! In my second year, I had so much money it was unbelievable. We were making a NET profit of £60, 000 a month. I had a lot of money very very quickly. Did I believe in God? No. Did I believe in karma? No. It was all about me. But, was I happy? No.

At the age of 30, in 2009, I lost everything. It went just like a rug being pulled underneath me. The recession came and unfortunately I banked the wrong business. I thought C&A was the keeper, so I sold other investments to put more money in to my recruitment business. But in the space of three months, everything went- the companies, the cars and my house!

My son was born the day I was declared bankrupt. I had two options, either start again or go and work for another company. I decided to start again, but starting a business in the recession was very difficult.

The end of my career?

In 2010, I was rushed to hospital because I was bleeding internally. There was one night, which was my turning point. It was late evening and there were two doctors who were looking at my X-rays and said if they didn’t operate on me that night, then there was a risk that my stomach would expand and eventually explode. I never believed in God or anything but myself. But that night, I prayed and said to whatever was out there, if I could get back on track then I will sacrifice anything.

I persuaded the doctors not to operate on me till the next morning. They took me for an X-ray first thing that morning and although my stomach wasn’t completely back to normal, it was 30% better than what it was. They were amazed, but I knew it was because I prayed.

After heavy medication, the doctors said they were happy for me to go home, but they said I could only work three hours a day. But I had already set up my new business, which was Pearson Anderson and I couldn’t be a part of it. So I was angry and wanted answers.

My turning point

I was walking through the city centre and this guy came up to me and gave me a copy of a book called Vedas. Now I had never read anything spiritual before this, but I read it pretty much flat out in three or four days. I found it really interesting and began reading other books, including the Bible, the Quran, the Guru Granth Sahib and the Geeta. I found common laws in all these scriptures, so I decided to put these laws into practise. I made ten times the wealth in the space of two years. Not only was I more successful, but I was happier. In 2014, I put these laws on paper, in the form of a book called The Gift and one of the biggest publishers, Austin Macauley picked it up and wanted to publish it. It was really successful and they wanted me to put it into an audio format. We came up with an idea of a show and because people already heard my stuff, they wanted to become part of a live audience. Star Plus also found out about the show and wanted to air it, which we’ve been working on since January. The purpose of the show is to prove that these seven laws are real. If you adopt even 30% of The Gift in your life, I can guarantee success in six months. I am also taking it a step further by recruiting partners in the business, where they can have a turnover of £1m in two years, using the rules of The Gift.

A second book called, The Great Planes Above, will also be available to buy this December.

The Gift

The first thing is that you need to understand that there is a power there and once you attach yourself to the power, then everything else will come. It’s about flow. 1) We need to let wealth flow from us. 2) We need to let time flow from us. 3) We need to let positivity flow from us. Money is like soldiers; if you don’t let them go out, you’re never going to win the battle. You have to let money flow outwards.

Your soul is directing you about what to do, but were just not listening to it. God didn’t bring us here, to pay the bills and make money. He brought us here for a sole purpose. It’s telling you to do karmic actions.

The secret of life is not to improve your bank balance, it’s to improve your karmic balance; then watch how everything comes to you in abundance. I recently went to Dubai and they have very successful businesses. They will stop working to go and pray and spend time with God. I also had someone who came to me over a year ago who was earning £35, 000 a year. Having implemented only 20% of The Gift in his life, he is earning £150, 000 per year and is driving a BMW 4 series car.

Once you attach yourself with the power, you will be amazed at what you can achieve.
