Arabian Omar Abdulrahman

Omar Abdulrahman received the Asian footballer of the year award in Abu Dhabi, despite his side losing out on the Asian champion’s league crown. The 25 year old playmaker has made 112 appearances for his side Al Ain and has over half a century of caps for United Arab Emirates. Getting the vote over on form, Iraqi striker Hammadi Ahmed and the Chinese forward Wu Lei he was overwhelmed and honoured to receive this prestigious award; ‘It is a great achievement to be given this honour and my aim is to win the AFC world player of the year for another time too’.
