One Direction will start their first tour here in the West Midlands. The popular band, whose fans are mainly female, have already scored their first number one hit ‘What Makes You Beautiful’, achieving that weeks biggest record.
The tour will start on December 21 in Wolverhampton’s Civil Hall, the hometown of band member Liam Payne.
Although coming third in the X factor competition, the band have gone on to achieve huge success, following the likes of boyband JLS, who lost out to Alexandra Burke in 2008, but are now a well established band in the British music scene.
