PRECIOUS Indian gold jewellery and designer watches  believed to be worth up to £20,000  have been stolen from an address in Solihull.
Limited edition Tag and Gucci watches, plus rings, bracelets and necklaces described as “one-offs”, were among the items taken from the Warwick Road family home during January.
Detectives have visited jewellers and pawn shops in the region alerting staff to the theft and urging them to report anyone offering such items for sale  and are also appealing to members of the public for information on the whereabouts of the jewellery.
Investigating officer PC Nicola Kettlewell, said: “The theft occurred some time between New Year’s Eve and January 28…the thief or thieves escaped with a significant amount of very precious, personal jewellery from the victim’s bedroom.
“The watches are particularly distinctive and are no longer available to buy from new. If anyone has seen any of these items, or has any information or suspicions about the incident, please contact me as soon as possible.”
The watches included a Tag ‘Formula 1′, a Tag ‘Aqua Race’ with a gold face, and another Tag with a £3,000 pearl and diamond rimmed face, plus a £500 Gucci watch with a green and red face.
And the jewellery haul included two white-gold diamond earrings, two Indian rose gold Rodium bracelets, another bracelet with a ball at each end, three sets of Indian gold earrings, a 1.8-carat platinum diamond ring (pictured) worth £7,000, a platinum wedding ring and an India gold engagement ring.
