Kiran Rai: the 26 year old talks hosting his 80th show and being top 100 UK Indian influencers and working with ED Sheeran.

Nottingham Actor and Presenter Kiran Rai has taken the industry by the storm of the palm of his hands, for the past 10 years he has been growing his name into the world of the arts and entertainment and has shined alight of projects that people would only dream of doing and has broken news across the world twice for launching a magazine called ‘ Kings and Queens ‘ which more than 50 states in the USA wrote about in there national newspapers including Miami Herald, Yahoo US to Los Angeles times and stood outside Waterloo station and raised 15k for his Bollywood film in one month and even boasts about being invited to have dinner with Jeremy Corbyn to having drinks with London Mayor Sadiq Khan to having dinner with President Mahinda Rajapaksa in Sri Lanka to being invited to the top 100 UK Indian influential artists Gala dinner to his face being painted in the British art gallery in London and sold on auction by Painter Tushar Sabale and to walking ED Sheeran to his world premiere at Leicester Square. He sits down comfortably with Asian world News and tells us exclusively that ‘ I am just a guy having fun ‘ which is hardly a understatement while his work boasts automatically over the span of hosting his 80th entertainment major event including his 22nd major sport including the world cup, Wimbledon, FA cup final to Para athletics to athletics world cup to British athletics to Darts world cup to ECB cricket and the Brit Awards at the Royal Albert Hall and by the end of next week and will be presenting at the  MOTO GB at the Silverstone while previously presented at the Formula 1 Grand Prix on the 26th August and the Challenge Cup final at Wembley stadium on the 25th August including being written in 600 international newspapers and magazines across the world and his social media can reach up to 10.5 million a year. At 17 years of age produced his own show that went to the west end Soho Theatre and then eventually onto the New York Stage and has walked the catwalks across the globe. His celebrity circle of friends including presidents and mayors and Hollywood actors stay close to him due to his professionalism at work and does not try the cheeky question when interviewing them at the red carpet or at the private events. Here is a small interview below we had with him.

 

  1. How does it feel to have so much going on around you?

 

It feels great being 26 years old, living my dream and travelling the world.

 

  1. Is there anything you could do differently?

 

No I am happy with what I do and proud and being Indian is the best thing.

 

  1. You have achieved so much, how did you do it?

 

I just learnt my craft and hustled my way through.

 

  1. 10 years, how you going to celebrate?

 

Just have fun but I never stop working.

 

  1. Who do you dedicate it too?

 

There is so many people I dedicate it to but mainly my best friend and my mentor David Gore and someone I could never forget because without my attitude being rough as it is today, Pedro Carvalho is the man who made me for what I do today and how I did it, I know I upset him in the past but he pushed and pushed me and even though I wasn’t with him long enough, I learnt everything from him.

 

  1. Your doing the Moto GB and Challenge cup final next week, wow you must be happy?

 

Yes rugby is coming to Wembley and then Moto GB is confirmed. I am happy to part of these beautiful events.

 

  1. Can you tell us about your family?

 

 

I love my father and mother very much, my father is my life and my mother is always in my heart despite not having the greatest relationship but I love them and I always wish them my best.

 

  1. I heard your hanging with YouTuber saj vlogs?

 

Yes he’s a funny guy, he is a good friend of mine but can be rather strict at times but I love him and I wish him the best, he is a funny character and is very good to me and very honest which is great.

 

  1. Friends always fall out right?

 

 

Yes they always fall out, its normal but I don’t hurt my friends, my friends are everything to me and I make sure I’m good to everyone despite what I do.
