Japan Airlines Co. Ltd. introduces the “JAL Same Day Delivery Service” for international travelers arriving at Terminal 3 of Haneda Airport. By using this service, overseas tourists can drop off their luggage at the JAL ABC counter in the arrival lobby and have it delivered to hotels the same day. This service’s primary goal is to make travel easy and stress-free so that visitors may explore Tokyo without having to worry about carrying their luggage with them. JAL provides this service to improve the comfort and convenience of both Japanese citizens and foreign tourists. Foreign travelers arriving at Haneda Airport Terminal 3 can apply for this service at the JAL ABC Counter on the second floor. Neither a passport nor an airline ticket are needed for this service. Simply use the 2D barcode on the poster in front of the counter to make your reservation and pay. A baggage tag will be issued by an issuing machine, which you must attach to your luggage. Following this procedure, a customer service agent will assist you as you bring your luggage to the counter.
Baggage delivery time: Counter Check in at 4:00 p.m.; delivery to the hotel at 8:00 p.m. For counter check-in at 6:00pm, delivery will be made to the hotel at 10:00pm. However, the maximum weight and dimensions for the baggage are 20 kg/44 lbs and 160 cm/63 in (length, width, and height). The airline will not take bicycles or golf bags for this service. The airline does not offer this service for private residences; deliveries are only made to hotels. This service will be provided in 14 Tokyo districts- Shinjuku, Shinagawa, Chiyoda, Chuo, Minato, Koto, Ota, Shibuya, Taito, Toshima, Bunkyo, Sumida, Meguro, Edogawa. The cost of the service, including tax, is 4,500 yen per suitcase.
JAL is attempting to make travel to Tokyo more convenient and pleasurable for travelers by introducing this service.
