Active Clinic, based on Birmingham’s Hagley Road, recently celebrated five years in business with a lavish party attended by VIP guests, celebrities, and sports stars including Lord Mayor of Birmingham Councilor Muhammad Afzal, Love Island’s Idris Virgo, BBC Radio Presenter/Actor Noreen Khan, BBC Radio London duo Sunny & Shay, Brummie Take Me Out TV Personality Kirsty Lo, and former kickboxing world champion Wayne Turne.
The guests were welcomed to Active Clinic’s Edgbaston headquarters, where Lord Mayor of Birmingham Councilor Muhammad Afzal formally opened the new hyperbaric oxygen therapy chamber treatment room. It is two to three times greater than normal air pressure in a hyperbaric oxygen treatment chamber. Your lungs may collect significantly more oxygen than normal air pressure allows. The increased oxygen in your blood helps fight germs and promotes the production of growth factors and stem cells, which aid in mending and healing processes.
The party proceeded next door at the Eaton Hotel, which featured live fire dance performances, a complimentary bar pouring a variety of cool mocktails, and delectable vegan cuisine canapés. The evening was concluded with a live DJ performance that kept visitors on their feet the whole time.
“I was truly pleased when I saw the invitation from Active Clinic because I wanted to learn more about cryotherapy and hyperbaric oxygen therapy and how they may benefit the Birmingham community,” stated Lord Mayor of Birmingham Councillor Muhammad Afzal. I will most certainly return as a patient to experience these therapies for myself.”
Tammy Takkar, co-director of Active Clinic, said: “We are really appreciative of everybody who attended our 5th anniversary party, and it was an exceedingly happy occasion to have our new hyperbaric oxygen therapy chamber treatment room formally opened by the Lord Mayor.” The last five years have been a rollercoaster; I’ve gone from establishing the business in a spare room in my house to being the only Cryotherapy Clinic in the Midlands, and I love what I do.”
“I am really pleased of my Active Team for their unwavering commitment and dedication to the business,” Hilal Mehdi, Co-Director at Active Clinic, stated. I’m also grateful to all of our clients for entrusting us with their business and backing us; without them, we would not be here.”
Additionally, Active Clinic offers both localized cryotherapy and whole-body cryotherapy (WBC), a treatment that involves the administration of extremely low temperatures to the body – which can help speed healing from sports injuries and increase performance.
