The Gala Screening in London of He Named Me Malala – an intimate portrait of the Nobel Peace Prize Laureate, Malala Yousafzai.

Last night Malala Yousafzai and family attended a special screening of forthcoming film HE NAMED ME MALALA in London.

The evening was hosted by Annie Lennox OBE who also introduced the film with Mabel van Oranje from The Malala Fund. Danny Cohen, Director of BBC, moderated a post-screening discussion with Malala, her father Ziauddin and Mabel.

Other guests included: Suki Waterhouse and family; Claudia Winkleman; Duncan Bannatyne; James Caan; Ella Woodward; Fiona Phillips; Human Rights barrister Geoffrey Robertson; Maryam d’Arbo; Stella Creasy MP; Vanessa Feltz and Bianca Jagger.

Directed by acclaimed documentary filmmaker Davis Guggenheim, He Named Me Malala arrives in UK cinemas November 6.
