London’s iconic Curzon Mayfair played host to the UK Premiere of Gurinder Chadha’s Viceroy’s House last night.
The British Asian filmmaker led the star cast including Hugh Bonneville, Gillian Anderson, Manish Dayal and Huma Qureshi on the red carpet.
Also joining the Premiere were fellow cast members Darshan Jariwala, Lily Travers, Tanveer Ghani and Jaz Deol.
The night saw stars from TV, film and music descend on the red carpet,
including Eastenders’ Nitin Ganatra, Pakistani film star Armeena Khan and British chart topping duo Naughty Boy and Emeli Sande.
Viceroy’s House, directed by Gurinder Chadha is releasing nationwide on 3rd March 2017.
The film tells the true story of the final months of British rule in India and its release will coincide with the 70th Anniversary of the Independence of India and the founding of Pakistan.
