London last night played host to an intimate, music tasting session by one of India’s most talented young music artists at the Anirudh Musical Showcase, presented by Sony Music India. The evening, hosted by BBC Asian Network presenter Tommy Sandhu, saw the young prodigy, Anirudh Ravichander, performing his forthcoming track against the chic backdrop of Carousel in London’s hip Marylebone district.
Anirudh wowed the guest list comprising members of the music fraternity, influencers, media and fans as he unveiled the as yet untitled track in his inimitable and fresh sound. The track is about having loved and lost and has been melodically and lyrically phrased to connect with the millennials. With a memorable melody and pacy groove, this will surely be a playlist favourite. Opening the evening was a crowd-pleasing performance by rising star and pop sensation, Sony Music artist, Arjun Kanungo, before Shridhar Subramaniam, President, Sony Music India and Middle East introduced Anirudh to the stage.
Speaking about the track, Anirudh says, “I am thrilled to be revealing the new vision that exudes my personality. This adds a unique direction to my musical journey.
