Alhumdililah £118000 was raised over our 48 hour record breaking challenge with Penny Appeal on Unity FM this weekend gone!
This is by far the largest amount ever raised by any charity in a single appeal in the history of our radio station Masha Allah! May Allah SWT reward all of our amazing team abundantly including Rizwan Khaliq CEO of Penny Appeal, Ahmad Bostan & co host and outstanding fund raiser Adil Riaz, the remarkable Tas Hussain Head Of Programming at Unity FM, Cllr Mariam Khan, presenters Daniel Raza, & Shalina Litt, our admirable and truly inspiraitional call centre staff, special guests and most importantly br Adeem Younis our Chairman and Founder of Penny Appeal with out whom this charity would not be in existence today.
On this joyous occasion when so many needy people have been helped out of poverty we pray that Allah SWT rewards all of our generous donars abundantly and grants them forgiveness for their sins and Janah (heaven) as their final destination.
Of course ultimately all thanks and gratitude go to Allah SWT and Allah SWT alone with out whom nothing is possible and Unity FM is truly honoured to have been a pivotal vehicle for such great work to take place Masha Allah in not only saving so many lives Subhanallah but in also making fund raising history for UK based Muslim charities
