In the month of Valentine’s Day, Bollywood gets set for lots of romantic comedies in February.

Films released this February in Indiaare looking to be mainly romantic comedies and dramas. Kareena Kapoor and Imran Khan accidentally get married in Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu, Bipasha Basu and Madhavan will be seen  together in Jodi Breakers and Ritesh Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza are on the run in Tere naal Love Ho Gaya.

Real life sweethearts Ritesh Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza will be seen in Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya released in the UK on February 24th. It’s a comic tale about an engaged couple on the run, whose feelings for each other develop even more on their wild journey. A very unique sort of love story that is expected to do well at Box Office upon release will be another film that Deshmukh and D’Souza will have been a part of together.

Ek Main Aur Ekk tu, due for release February 10th is the Bollywood adaption of American film What Happens in Vegas.  The film, which originally starred Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher will this time star Kareena Kapoor and Imran Khan as two people meet one drunken night only to awake the next morning to realise they are married. Produced by Karan Johar and Ronnie Screwala, the film also has a promising soundtrack that has received positive views.

Jodi Breakers is out on the 24th as well. It will see the unlikely pairing of R.Madhavan and Bipasha Basu as two individuals who end up falling in love. The film has faced controversy after reports that it was based on the script of another film and is facing plagiarism allegations from the makers of the film “Heartbreakers” as producers found the script to this upcoming release to be very similar to that of “Heartbreakers”.

In time for Valentine’s Day Bollywood fans will be treated to mainly romantic comedies and dramas this month. It looks as though the main theme in cinema this month is Love. Let us hope that Box office favours this classic theme this month.
