The Aarakshan star has agreed to team up with ex Ranbir Kapoor in upcoming movie ‘Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani.’
The film will be directed Ayan Mukherjee, who worked his magic on 2009’s Wake Up Sid.
On her bitter break-up with the Raajneeti actor, she said, “I don’t look back on the past. I just pick up my life and move on.
“It’s been a couple of years since Ranbir and I parted and I don’t even think about it anymore.
“Everyone has their own way of dealing with break-ups. This is my way, but I’m not a counsellor to tell others what they should do in a similar situation.”
Deepika and Ranbir dated for over a year, starring together in Bachna Ae Haseeno in 2008.
Ranbir allegedly split from Deepika in 2009, leaving the beauty heartbroken as she struggled to absorb the news.
But since the break-up, both have moved on to other glittering stars.
Deepika dated Sidhartha Mallya, while Ranbir has enjoyed a string of relationships with Katrina Kaif, Anushka Sharma and Angela Jonsson, before hooking up with current squeeze, Nargis Fakhri.
