After falling in love with a Arab billionaire almost half her age and worlds away from where she was bought up super start singing sensation from one of the most icon showbiz families in the world 47-year old Janet Jackson is said to have converted to Islam and become a Muslim after her marriage to long term lover Wissam Al Mana, who descends from a billionaire dollar family.

It seems Janet has left the glitz and glamour of Hollywood to move to the Middle East and starts a new chapter in her illustrious life, a life that saw her rise to the top of her career singing and dancing her way to number one and being a predominant member of her famous family.

It is reported she has given up her career completely to be with her new husband.

An insider has said “She’s gone. She married a billionaire.”

“They’ve got houses in three countries. She’s spending time in the Middle East. She’s become a Muslim.”

The loved up pair who started dating in 2010 were wed in secret last year, with Janet revealing the details to  media she said  “Last year we were married in a quiet, private, and beautiful ceremony.”

Went on to say “Our wedding gifts to one another were contributions to our respective favourite children’s charities.”

She ended her statement by saying “We would appreciate that our privacy is respected and that we are allowed this time for celebration and joy. With love, Wissam and Janet.”

Wissam is not Janet’s first husband but her third. She was married briefly to James DeBarge in the ’80s and Réne Elizondo in the ’90s.

Michael Jackson’s singer sister Janet Jackson had a widely celebrated lavish wedding to billionaire Wissam Al Mana, and since that time Janet hasn’t done any acting or released any music.

It has since been reported that as well as converting Islam Janet has moved to the Middle East and changed her name to Jannat. Surprisingly, she also has disowned music and left the industry entirely. Janet says that part of the reason she wants to leave music is so that she and her husband can live a private life away from the media. Al Mana made his fortune through the Al Mana Retail group, which is owned and controlled by his family.
