It is often a dream for many to get their hands on something belonging to their favourite star, be it their scarf, tea-towel, or even the moist of their lips after a peck on the cheek (I’ll never wash this side of my face again).
And this became a reality for Shah Rukh Khan’s 11 year old daughter, Suhana, who received a pair of sunglasses belonging to her favourite pop star, Lady Gaga.
The pop sensation gave the shades to Daddy Khan to pas onto the youngster, after a press conference in Mumbai.
The Bollywood veteran tweeted, “Lady Gaga is all heart and soul. Gave me her glasses for my daughter. yippeee..brownie points unlimited.”
But unlike stereotypical fathers, who would normally roll their eyes when their children’s music come pounding through the ceiling, it seems that Shah Rukh is also a fan of the American pop star.
He told reporters at the F1 after-party in Greater Noida Sunday, “My daughter is a big fan of Lady Gaga. She listens to her music and introduced me to her music, and I am also a fan of her now.”
Shah Rukh hoped to work with Gaga for a soundtrack for Ra. One, but did not come to fruition due to busy schedules.
He was overjoyed when he got to meet her for an Indian chat show, due to be televised on UTV Bindass this month.
He told reporters, “She (Gaga) was very sweet. I sat with her for a couple of hours and exchanged a lot of good things about life. She is very deep, very sweet.”
