The girl is certainly busy, having done a mujra number for fiancé Saif Ali Khan’s upcoming spy-thriller Agent Vinod.
But to add to her dance schedule, Kareena Kapoor will be seen doing her thing in filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar’s Heroine, in which she plays the titular role.
Bhandarkar said, “Kareena will be doing two item numbers. One of them is called ‘Halkat jawani…’. I am sure she will take the nation by storm with this one.”
The hotly anticipated film revolves around the life of an actress, but Bhandarkar told reporters that he approached the subject very carefully, in case it sent out the wrong ideas about the film industry.
“The film also deals with the subject of manipulation in the casting and editing stages. I hope I don’t rub the film fraternity in a wrong way,” he said.
The director and producer also commented that the love scenes between Kareena and her leading man, Arjun Rampal turned out very well.
“The bedroom scene was part of the film. Kareena is a very professional actor and she understands the gravity of the film. Also, she has worked with Arjun in We Are Family and Ra.One,” he says.
The film also stars Randeep Hooda, Rakesh Bapat, Divya Dutta and Shahana Goswami.
