As the DVD of Tulisa Contostavlos’s debut feature film,  Demons Never Die storms up the charts, rumours are re-emerging that Brit-Asian director Arjun Rose and exec producer Idris Elba are moving toward their second feature film, Swift and are again considering Tulisa for a key role.

Elba and Rose first worked together on Demons Never Die, which was released on DVD on Monday 20th February and stars the former N-Dubz star and X-Factor judge alongside a host of hugely recognisable Brtish actors, including Misfits star Robert Sheehan, Jennie Jacques, former Hollyoaks star Emma Rigby and Top Boy’s Ashley Walters.

The pair got on so well that plans for Rose’s second feature, Swift, developed as soon as filming had finished on Demons, with Golden Globe winner Idris Elba agreeing to take the lead role. Clearly as well as working well together, both have seen great potential in singer-turned TV personality-turned actor, Tulisa Contostavlos.

Idris Elba praised Tulisa’s performance at the premiere of Demons Never Die, saying: “She did a really good job”, while director Arjun Rose was clearly
impressed as well saying: “She’s awesome, that’s the word to describe her. She looks beautiful. She was pretty much getting into the performance first time.”

Swift
is a coming of age film about a washed up Sports agent who takes on a troubled boy from the East End.  Production starts on the film later this year, and is slated for a 2013 release.

Clearly Rose and Elba have the Midas touch at the moment, not only is Tulisa looking at a Hollywood career thanks to Demons Never Die, but Emma Rigby is currently gaining critical acclaim with BBC series Prisoner’s Wives, Ashley Walters stars in Inside Men and Reggie Yates has teamed up with Holly Willoughby as host of BBC One’s new talent show The Voice, which launches in the Spring!

Demons Never Die released on Monday 20th February on Sky Box Office and on DVD and Blu-Ray from HMV, Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, iTunes, Amazon and Play is already racing up the charts with Tulisa fans rushing out to get their very own copy of this great Indie Brit flick.
