Leicester: Jaspal Singh Minhas President of LABA today announced a major scoping project for developers, site owners along with manufacturers in partnership with GVA Property Consultants based out of Birmingham. “The scoping exercise” said Jaspal “will include all the key sites in Leicestershire that have the potential to be developed either for business development and expansion or for inward investment and job creation opportunities. The scoping report will be used to have a strategic dialogue with the potential investors and private equity houses, Leicestershire Economic Partnership, the County Council, City Council and the District Councils, along with key government departments, ministers and members of parliament. Along withthe potential to engage with the European Structural Fund support”.

LABA’s aspiration remains to promote Leicestershire as a value-for-money destination for inward investment for companies in food and drink manufacturing, high end textile design and manufacturing, pharmaceuticals and high value engineering and distribution.
