Indian darts sensation Rohit ‘Rock It’ Rabadia has encouraged more Asians to take up the sport.
The sport has very few Asians taking part and the 32 year old, who has been playing darts from the tender age of 15, has admitted he has at times felt ‘alone’ in the sport as he has only seen one fellow Asian player.
In an interview, Rohit explained his long-term aim: “It is most definitely a working class white sport which I want to change. My main goal is to get more Asians on the circuit. I have only ever seen one other Asian at one event.” It remains to be seen if Rohit’s ambitions of introducing Asian talent into the sport come true.
