One pound fish man gets a million hits!!
“One pound fish man” aka Shahid Nazir was given a hero’s welcome upon his return to his homeland Pakistan after his British visa expiry. Chants of “long live one pound fish man” by hundreds of fans lined up at the airport and his mother awaited him, after the success of his song which has already reached the top charts and hit more than seven million likes on YouTube. Mr Nazir a father of two came with nothing but a small dream, to earn for his wife and children and a song he used to attract shoppers in east London towards his small fish stall, which got him a record deal now leaves Britain with millions of fans and a dream come true. His appearance on X-Factor and the release of his songs video gave great increase to his popularity. Shahid Nazir says his next target is that he plans to take the song to France and the United States as part of a bid for worldwide fame and that he intends to adopt singing as a career. His success is a sign of hope that all dreams can come true.
