With an immense amount of support, Shak Khan, Raja Sony Palwan is preparing for what will be an incredible event that will take place in Azad Kashmir in 2018. Khan has revealed that the money from the event will be given to a charity called the Insaniat Foundation which funds the poor and orphan children of Rawalpindi. This is a huge act of kindness from Khan who knows all about being charitable and looking after others as he played the father role to his younger siblings whilst growing up.
From this, Khan has gave back to all fans locally and globally and setting up this event is another example of this. He is idolised in his town of Dadyal and being the heavyweight wrestling champion of Azad Kashmir comes with enormous responsibility, which he has lived up to. With the introduction of his first wrestling school in Blackpool where he has been living since his school days. So not only has he given back to his loyal fans in Azad Kashmir, but he has even gave back to the local community of Blackpool, where he learnt the ropes and developed as a wrestler under the wing of future opponent Dangerous Dave Duran who also resides from Blackpool.
Khan has now confirmed that he will fight his mentor and good friend Dangerous Dave Duran for the heavyweight crown and fighting him is a huge honour for Khan; ‘Fighting Dave Duran is an honour, he showed me the ropes and has vowed to beat me in front of my people, so the fans are in for a treat.’ Khan added.
Shak Khan is a credit to his communities both in Blackpool and in Azad Kashmir; he will surely put on a huge show for his family and friends.
