- Mason Finney appointed as Media Relations Executive at PEUGEOT UK with immediate effect
- Mason arrives after successfully obtaining NVQs at the PSA Group Academy
- Team development timed to prepare for launch of All-New PEUGEOT 5008 SUV later this year
PEUGEOT UK has appointed Mason Finney as its new Media Relations Executive with immediate effect.
Mason will support the existing press team alongside PEUGEOT Head of Communications James Parfett and PR Manager Kerry Livesey. Mason’s role will see him become a primary point of contact for UK media enquiries and play a key role in the on-going communications programme.
Prior to taking the position of Media Relations Executive, Mason completed a Level 2 and Level 3 NVQ in Business Administration within the Motor Industry at the PSA Group Academy, during which time he has built up considerable hands-on experience with the fleet and retail businesses at PEUGEOT UK.
As well as supporting with the existing day-to-day workload for the press team, Mason joins PEUGEOT UK in the countdown to launching the all-new 5008 SUV later this year. After an extremely positive response to the initial global launch in February, there is likely to be strong interest in a car which is sure to make an impact on the seven-seat SUV segment.
Mason commented: “PEUGEOT has been a big part of my life for some years now, and through my training at the Academy and my experiences internally, I’ve been able to develop skills that will hopefully stand me in good stead for this role. It’s a privilege to start working with the UK media and I’m looking forward to playing my part in an exciting year.”
