Police investigating the death of Glynis Bensley in Smethwick have arrested a 20 year-old-man on suspicion of her murder.
The man, who lives locally, was arrested on Thursday 11 September and will be questioned by officers from Force CID.
Glynis Bensley, aged 47, was found in Cheshire Road just before 11.50pm on Wednesday 3 September. A post mortem confirmed she died of head injuries.
A 13-year-old boy has been arrested and charged with her murder and remanded into secure accommodation.
A 14-year-old boy remains on conditional bail in connection with the inquiry.
