A 17-year-old boy from Alum Rock in Birmingham will appear before the city’s youth court today (Friday 4 December) accused of robbery.
The teenager, who the law says cannot be named because of his age, is charged with three robberies and two attempted robberies.
His arrest followed a search by police dog JJ responding to an allegation of a knifepoint robbery on 15-year-old girl walking on a canal towpath off Adderley Gardens, Saltley on Wednesday.
