A 14 year old schoolgirl was run over by a man aged 45, who is suspected to have been under the influence of alcohol while at the wheel. This incident happened in Hodge Hill, Birmingham on the 30th March 2017. Witnesses say that roads were sealed off around the area of the incident and the West Midlands Police have currently bailed the suspect pending an investigation and further enquires. Fortunately, the girl is in a stable condition in hospital despite being knocked down and authorities urge anyone with further information to call the collision investigation unit on 101.
