The smash hit Bhangra Awards, returned once again on Saturday 25th November 2017. The event took place at the Regency Banqueting suite in Birmingham. UK Bhangra Awards 2017 represented lifestyle, tradition and cultural values, which encompass the very soul of Asian communities in the UK. Bhangra fans from all cultures were united once again at the grand ceremony which set new standards in the industry. The glamorous red carpet event featured 24 awards, dinner, dance and live performances from some of UK’s hottest Bhangra stars. Asian World attended the award ceremony, supporting all the acts that were nominated and performing.
The event was hosted by Jagdeep Rainu, Mohanjit Basra, Apna Bhajan Jagpal, Boy Chana and Chandni Kahn.
The ceremony started off with exceptional live Bhangra performances with fans dancing along to these incredible performers.
The venue was packed out with Bhangra supporters from all communities uniting together. This magnificent show relived some of the best Bhangra artists within the UK. All winners received a stunning crystal trophy for their amazing Bhangra talent and immediately joined the elite list of winners at the 2017 UK Bhangra Awards.
The regency banqueting suite is located at the heart of Birmingham and is known for its luxurious design. The food provided was exquisite, and guests were even provided with a gift bag that included some sweets, and an energy drink to keep the fans dancing all night.
Some of the biggest names in Bhangra attended the show. It truly was a party start to finish in true Bhangra style!
