Donald Trump has publically shamed himself after he endorsed far-right Islamophobia and racism. Trump retweeted three posts that had been uploaded by Jayda Fransen, who is the deputy leader of Britains First, anti – Islam, anti-immigration, fascist organisation.
The three tweets were videos that negatively showed Muslim’s. The first is captioned: ‘VIDEO: Muslim migrant beats up Dutch boy on crutches’.
The second is captioned: ‘VIDEO: Muslim Destroys a Statue of Virgin Mary!’
The third is captioned: ‘VIDEO, Islamist mob pushes teenage boy off a roof and beats him to death!’
However, these videos have not been verified so for all we know, they could be fake or even photo-shopped, and because it was uploaded by Jadya Fransen, who is known to be a vile human being, we cannot trust whether these posts are real. In 2016, Jadya,30, was convicted of religiously aggravated harassment after she abused a Muslim woman wearing a Hijab. Even last week, Freya was charged with the use of threatening and abusive behaviour during a speech she made at an event in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
Once Trump had retweeted the videos, Jadya was over the moon and wrote in capital letters, ‘THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES, DONALD TRUMP, HAS RETWEETED THREE OF DEPUTY LEADER JAYDA FRANSEN’S TWITTER VIDEOS! DONALD TRUMP HIMSELF HAS RETWEETED THESE VIDEOS AND HAS AROUND 44 MILLION FOLLOWERS! GOD BLESS YOU TRUMP! GOD BLESS AMERICA!’
After trump retweeted these videos, Fransen’s Twitter followers increased miraculously. These retweets had sparked immediate outrage and criticism all over twitter. We do not know why Trump had retweeted these posts, either he had no idea who these people are, or he is a racist human who supports these repulsive groups. As president of the United States, He has made himself to be a bloody fool, and he has also endorsed a blind, pathological hatred of all Muslims.
All we can suggest is that Trump undo’s those retweets and apologises for his actions, although this won’t repair any damage that’s already done, it will acknowledge that he understands that it was wrong and if Trump does not do this, then we will have to assume that Trump is an Islamophobe and a racist human being.
