Police have appealed for information following the break-in of a home on Vernon Road in Edgbaston by two men. CCTV images of the suspects have been released showing them on the roof of the house and stealing a safe along with other items.
Police are pleading for information to help them trace the suspects as well as increasing patrols in the area. West Midlands Police have said “Officers have released images of the two who were caught on camera during a burglary at an address in Vernon Road, Edgbaston. The break-in resulted in a safe and other personal items from the house being stolen by the two men, one of whom was white aged in his 30s.”
Investigations to track down the suspects are underway but police say they need help in identifying them. Police Sergeant Pete Sandhu, from the local neighbourhood policing team, said: “We take all reports of burglary seriously and have recently increased our patrols in the local area, but we really need the public’s help in identifying these two offenders. If anyone can help please call my team on 101.”
