33 stunning Ferraris will be offered for sale at Silverstone Auctions’ inaugural ‘Sale of Ferraris in association with the Ferrari Owners’ Club of Great Britain’, taking place at Silverstone Circuit on 18th May.

The first of its kind on UK soil, the Italian marque dedicated auction sees an exciting range of Ferraris for sale from the outrageously fast 2014 Ferrari F12 Berlinetta estimated at £190,000 to £240,000 to the timeless elegance of the 1972 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona estimated at £500,000 to £575,000.

One of only 158 right-hand drive models, the Daytona is one of the most desirable classic Ferraris around today. With only 35,900 miles on the clock and finished in a lovely shade of Argento Auteuil with a contrasting blue leather interior, this Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona presents an incredible opportunity to own one of the most collectable cars to ever bear the prancing horse badge.

One of the lowest mileage cars in the auction is a 2001 Ferrari 550 Barchetta Pininfarina with only 3,022 miles, finished in the classic combination of Rosso Corsa with a grey/black interior and estimated at £325,000 to £375,000. Another low mileage car is a 1989 Ferrari 348 TS valued at £55,000 to £65,000, with only 3,985 miles on the clock and remarkably still wearing its original set of Bridgestone tyres.

An extreme version of Ferrari’s well-loved 308 will also be on offer at the sale. The 1984 Ferrari 308 GTB Quattrovalvole estimated at £45,000 to £52,000 features a ‘Koenig style’ body kit. With only 6,200 miles, this 308 GTB QV is nicely finished in Rosso Corsa, with a Nero interior.

The sale will also see a pair of Ferraris auctioned from the private collection of Jamiroquai frontman, Jay Kay. The very first car to start his collection, a 1998 Ferrari 550 Maranello finished in Grigio Titanio with a Bordeaux leather interior and reading just 13,980 miles is estimated at £135,000 to £160,000. Also for sale is his 2011 Ferrari FF with an impressive factory specification estimated at £120,000 to £135,000.

“The Sale of Ferraris’ is a brand new auction for our 2018 calendar and the cars consigned to the sale are definitely some of the best in the country” explains Nick Whale, managing director, Silverstone Auctions. “This is the sale of the year for any serious Ferrari collector, with a range of cars spanning from the early 60’s all the way up to the latest supercars from the legendary marque.”

One of the most respected cars in the auction is the 2009 Ferrari 430 Scuderia, estimated at £165,000 to £185,000. The evocatively named Scuderia is the extreme track special, lighter and more powerful than the standard F430. This car comes in Rosso Corsa with the trademark Scuderia black stripe and only 13,600 miles on the clock.

Viewing of all lots will be available from 09:00-14:00 on Friday 18th May. A special Ferrari memorabilia sale of 150 lots starts the proceedings at 11.30am with the main car auction beginning at 2.30pm.
