As the country gears up to celebrate the annual ‘Festival of Lights’, Morrisons is preparing for a Diwali with a difference, with a host of mouth-watering delights in select stores across the UK.
Steered by Noor Ali, the World Foods Manager at Morrisons, the supermarket has recently undergone a vast extension of its World Foods category, enabling it to provide its customers with a number of celebratory offers. From £4.99 off Neesa Jaipur Basmati Rice 10kg to £2.49 off Fudco Cashew Nuts 500g, as well as a range of other tasty savings, shoppers will have no problem whipping up a culinary feast for the whole family during Diwali, the Indian Festival of Lights.
Morrisons is also getting into the spirit by stocking up on a range of fireworks, allowing families from across the UK to see Diwali in with a bang. There is even a special Festival of Lights 90 shot Barrage for £20 as part of this offer.
The in store Diwali celebrations are part of an on-going investment into World Foods from Morrisons, which recently ramped up its offering by adding 1,000 new products from across the world into stores. The range was developed with the 19%1 of the UK population from ethnic minorities in mind, enabling them to do their weekly shop in one place. It also offers huge variety for adventurous cooks of all backgrounds looking to enjoy authentic flavours from around the world.
