A man is due to appear before Wolverhampton Magistrates Court later today (Saturday 13 September) charged with the murder of Glynis Bensley.
Unemployed Zoheb Majib of Cheshire Road, Smethwick was arrested by detectives in the Highgate area of Birmingham on Thursday night.
The 20-year-old is the second to be charged with the murder of Ms Bensley, aged 47, who was found in Cheshire Road just before 11.50pm on Wednesday 3 September. A post mortem confirmed she died of head injuries.
A 13-year-old boy was arrested and charged with her murder and remanded into secure accommodation follow his brief court appearance earlier this week.
A 14-year-old boy remains on conditional bail while a 21-year-old man arrested on Wednesday on suspicion of assisting an offender has also been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
