Anushuman Jha, the newcomer who graced 2010’s Love Sex Aur Dhoka, moves up a level to a more intense role in Sanjay Khanduri’s Kismat Love Paisa Dilli.
The film is a sequel to 2007’s Ek Chalis Ki Last Local and will see Anushuman play a darker character compared to his previous outing.
Describing his character as an “innocent-faced devil”, the young actor added that his role “is a bit surreal and has shades of grey.”
Unlike the original, the sequel will not star Abhay Deol and Neha Dhupia, but will rather feature a fresh pair in the form of Viveik Oberoi and Mallika Sherawat.
According to Anushuman, he was on the top of the list for the bad guy role.
He said, “When Sanjay met me he said that he had me in mind for this particular character when he was writing the script.”
“My character is pivotal to the whole story but he has his own track and journey in the film. It is completely different from Rahul in LSD. For the first time, the audience will see me doing action in the film.”
