Birmingham Hippodrome’s fundraising efforts given a boost by beverages supplier Matthew Clark and the award-winning Champagne Taittinger.
As part of its on-going relationship with Birmingham Hippodrome, beverage suppliers Matthew Clark have now joined the theatre’s popular corporate membership scheme as Associate Partners.
Key Account Manager at Matthew Clark, Kate Rider Richardson said “We are very proud to be associated with one of the most successful names in theatre at Birmingham Hippodrome. Our objective is to support our customers in maximising their business potential and we look forward to working closely with the Hippodrome through our partnership together.”
Guests will be able to enjoy a glass of Champagne Taittinger at the reception of next year’s dazzling on-stage Gala event which will aim to raise £25,000 for the theatre’s Creative Programme, developing Birmingham Hippodrome’s education workshops for schools and community groups, assisted performances for disabled patrons and free public performances in open spaces across the city.
Champagne Taittinger have also generously offered to support the theatre’s Leading Ladies networking events, an ever popular event for professional women ran by the Hippodrome. The networking events will also aim to raise funds towards the Creative Programme initiatives.

Champagne Taittinger will be available by the glass in the theatre’s Foyer bars, Circle and StageSide restaurants. At a sneak-preview tasting with Birmingham Hippodrome Trustees, Trustee Bridget Blow said “Taittinger will be the perfect addition to a corporate reception, private dinner or special family celebration at the theatre. I am sure the brand will be a huge success with our customers and we appreciate the support that Matthew Clark and Champagne Taittinger are giving to our major fundraising events over the coming months.”
