Fans of Dostana will be in with a pleasant New Year surprise, as Karan Johar had confirmed that its sequel is finally set to take off next year.
The second installment will see the return of Abhishek Buchchan and the lush John Abraham, however a question mark hovers over the heads of Priyanka Chopra and Bobby Deol, who may not return.
According to reports, the gorgeous Katrina Kaif will replace the equally hot Priyanka.
Karan Johar wrote on twitter: “DOSTANA 2 is definitely starting next year….Script is locked…abhishek and john are ready!!! the boys are back!! Tarun (director Tarun Mansukhani) is all set….”
According to reports the setting of the film has been relocated from the sunny shores of Miami to grandeurs of London.
However, ladies who were impressed with John’s excess muscle in Force won’t get another viewing, as John is keen to lose the Hulk look and go back to the sultry slender frame (let’s face it, he’s a perfect 10, regardless of shape.)
The 2008 hit was branded an original, youthful romantic comedy, about two friends who pretend to be gay, so they can rent an apartment from the landlord’s smoldering niece.
We wonder what hilarious situation Abhishek and John’s characters will find themselves in in the sequel….
