Director Christopher Nolan certainly wants his last film in the Batman trilogy to go out with an unexpected bang.
The acclaimed writer is so determined to keep the ending to the ‘Dark Knight Rises’ a hushed up secret, that he allegedly won’t write it down on paper.
In fact, scripts are delivered to the actors with the last pages missing!
Gary Oldman, who plays Commissioner Gordan in the films, told reporters, “They sent mine out, but it had to be hand-delivered directly to me and nobody else. And the final few pages were missing.”
But that didn’t stop the Harry Potter star from getting the juicy info from secretive Christopher.
He added, “[After receiving the script], I went along and talked to Christopher and in person about the ending. Then I locked it away in my head.
Christopher doesn’t want anyone to ruin it and I completely understand that.”
No doubt Gary will be bombarded with fans begging him to reveal the last chapter, especially after the teaser trailer was revealed a few months ago. And not to mention the exciting stills flying around the internet recently.
Last August, pictures of Anne Hathaway as Catwoman emerged. Dressed in a skin-tight rubber suit that’s more akin to Michelle Phiffer’s leather garb in 1992’s ‘Batman Returns’, Anne was speeding on a motorcycle through a fight scene.
Other stills show Christian Bale in his Batman suit fighting Bane, played by Tom Hardy, during another snow flecked fight scene.
