A CCTV image of a man who is suspected of assaulting a woman in a Birmingham hotel have been released by police.
The 35-year-old woman was assaulted on Sunday 16 March at a hotel in Brindley Place.
After trawling CCTV, officers are now in a position to release an image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the assault.
Detective Constable Jas Mandair from Birmingham’s Public Protection Unit, said: “We would like to speak to the man in the image and would appeal to anyone who may know him to call me or one of the team with a name or an address.
“If the man in the image recognises himself I would also appeal to him to do the right thing and get in touch − this is your chance to give your side of the story.”
Anyone with any information is urged to call West Midlands Police on 101. Alternatively people can leave information anonymously by calling Crimestoppers the independent charity on 0800 555 111.
