A Birmingham father becomes a sensation amongst pupils at his daughter’s school, who got extra help with their homework using his educational crossword books.
Ash Sharma’s Maths and English crossword books were picked up by families across the Midlands.
The property developer from Great Bridge originally created the range of Skips crossword puzzles to help his daughter Nicole, who was struggling to concentrate when revising for her 11+ exams last year.
The books were bought by Nicole’s classmates, who heard of the puzzles through word-of-mouth.
But now the series is set to go nationwide, as a new collection for primary pupils will be stocked up to 20,000 schools across theUK.
The dad of three told reporters that he never thought that his creation would go on to help thousands of other children.
“Lots of kids might use things like apps and iPads at home, but some parents might not feel as confident about using that sort of technology” he told reporters.
