If you’re looking for a comfortable and modest hotel to spend your weekend in Birmingham, then Travel Lodge should, by all means, be your go-to. Tucked away inside the bustling and lively hub of Broadway Plaza, the accommodation is home to a selection of comfortable and child-friendly rooms.

Checking into our family room, we walked into an ample and stylish space with one king-sized and two single beds. The room was spotless and followed a trendy white and pale blue colour scheme with wooden finishes. The window also opened up to the hotel balcony and a perfect view of the Broadway complex.

All of the bedding and upholstery in the room was obviously brand new. It was also fit to purpose with everything you could possibly need: an open wardrobe with shelving, a desk area with seating and a wall lit mirror, radiator, a TV and plug fittings, and also a kettle with tea and coffee making supplies. The blue and white tiled bathroom held both a tub and shower, with hand, body and hair wash already provided. Room service had also provided extra pillows and plenty of towels for the stay.

The hotel bedding uses sleepeezee mattresses which provide a comfy and relaxing night’s rest. Breakfast is also provided in a chic and trendy communal area with the usual offerings. These include hash browns, fried mushrooms, grilled tomatoes, beans, toast, bacon and eggs. Meat-free options are available upon request. There’s also a choice of cereals, with fresh milk and juice, alongside instantly prepared hot drinks.

The Travel Lodge Hotel is conveniently situated within Birmingham Centre on Broadway Plaza. The facility neighbours a vast range of entertainment venues such as Hollywood Bowl, Mr Mulligan’s Golf, Odeon Cinema, Broadway casino and Rock Up Climbing Wall Centre. The accommodation is also only a 5-minute walk from Broad Street’s main bars and clubs, and a 10-minute walk from Five Ways train station, with quick transport links to the Bullring Shopping Centre and elsewhere.

The hotel staff are always friendly, approachable and prepared to assist you with all of your queries and concerns. For an affordable, cosy and safe stay over the weekend in Birmingham, book in with Travel Lodge now, and visit their website for their full pricing on rooms and availability.
