On July 1, 2025, Emirates will begin daily nonstop flights between Dubai and Shenzhen, connecting Dubai with Thailand and Cambodia, or more accurately, Dubai with Thailand and Vietnam. On June 2, the airline will launch four weekly flights to Da Nang, and on June 3, it will launch three weekly flights to Siem Reap, with Bangkok serving as a hub between the two cities.

Emirates will become the first Middle Eastern airline to offer daily service to the Chinese mainland. EK328 is scheduled to leave Dubai at 1005hrs and arrive in Shenzhen at 2200hrs. EK329, the return flight, leaves Shenzhen at 2355hrs and lands in Dubai at 0340hrs the following day.

Emirates will use a modified B777-300ER for this new route, providing passengers with 260 spacious economy seats, 40 lie flat seats in business class, 24 premium economy seats, and 8 private suites in first class. Emirates will transport 2000 tonnes of cargo from the Chinese mainland every week. It is anticipated that Emirates SkyCargo will uplift 10 tonnes of cargo per flight between Shenzhen and Dubai and promote exports such as high-tech gadgets and e-commerce goods.

In order to expand the network in Vietnam and Cambodia, B777 will operate four weekly flights to Da Nang via Bangkok on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. At 0900hrs, flight EK370 will take off from Dubai and land in Bangkok at 1825hrs. After that, the flight will leave Bangkok at 2010 hrs and reach Da Nang at 2150hrs. The return flight, EK371, is scheduled to depart Da Nang at 2330 hrs and arrive in Bangkok at 0110hrs the following day. After that, the flight will depart at 0340hrs and land in Dubai at 0650hrs.

On Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, there will be three weekly services to Siem Reap.  At 0900 hrs, the EK370 flight will take off from Dubai and land in Bangkok at 1825hrs. After that, the flight will leave Bangkok at 2010hrs and land in Siem Reap at 2130hrs. The return flight EK371 is scheduled to leave Siem Reap at 2350hrs and land in Bangkok at 0110hrs the following day. After that, the flight will depart at 0340hrs and land in Dubai at 0650hrs.

Throughout their journey, passengers flying to Shenzhen, Da Nang, and Siem Reap will experience Emirates’ renowned hospitality, enjoying regionally inspired cuisine and first-rate beverages in every cabin class.

Adnan Kazim, the Chief Commercial Officer and Deputy President of Emirates, stated, “We remain committed to offering business and leisure travellers unparalleled access to Southeast Asia and the broader East Asia region by delivering an extensive flight schedule. Our expansion into Shenzhen opens new doors for business and economic exchange between this technological powerhouse and global markets. As we prepare to launch operations, we extend our gratitude to the Chinese authorities and airport partners for their ongoing support and are committed to ensuring this route’s success while fostering cultural bonds and unlocking future economic potential.”

He added: “Vietnam holds a strategic place in our Southeast Asia network. Our decision to expand operations to Da Nang as our third point in Vietnam comes at an opportune moment, following the landmark Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) between the UAE and Vietnam. Emirates is also making it easier for travellers to connect to Siem Reap, home to Angkor Wat,  one of Cambodia’s most popular destinations with its incredible ancient wonders and natural beauty. With the addition of these new gateways, we’re strengthening our links, giving customers more choice, offering an unparalleled onboard experience and ensuring seamless and convenient connections to and from China’s largest cities, Vietnam’s emerging economic and leisure hubs, and Cambodia’s touristic treasures.”

With Emirates Holidays destination experiences, travelers may now enjoy their trip by taking advantage of seaside getaways, cultural immersion, unique heritage, and picturesque landscapes—all within a single, seamless journey.
