Following three years in long-term storage, the Lufthansa A380 is prepared to resume commercial flight. On July 4, 2023, American Independence Day, the German airline resumed its first flight with a route to Boston. Flight LH410 departed from Munich International Airport (MUC) to New York JFK Airport.  Additionally, in the upcoming winter, Munich will resume service to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) from October 28 through March 30, 2024, and two additional new destinations will be added from Munich to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) on October 5 through March 30, 2024.

There will be daily flights from Boston to Munich with flight number LH425.

Flight number LH411 will fly daily from JFK to MUC from July 4, 2023.

From October 5, 2023 flight number LH453 will fly daily from Los Angeles to Munich.

Unlike other aircraft, the A380 offers a distinctive space with higher capacity, carrying up to 509 travelers across four cabin classes – 8 in first class, 78 in business class, 52 in premium economy class, 371 in economy class. 73 meters long, 24 meters high, take-off weight up to 560 tons, boasts four engines with 70000 lbs of thrust each will enable the passengers to have a tranquil and enjoyable flight.
