Hyderabad – A 24-year-person was lynched close to the city on the grounds of allegedly rehearsing black magic, which reportedly prompted the demise of a middle-aged lady.
Within Hinduism, black magic is said to be performed in order to please the ‘shaitaan‘ (devil) in religious ceremonies. This is said to increase your strength and make your enemies suffer. However, forbidden witchcraft of this kind is said to eventually return full circle and cause the same amount of suffering on the performer.
The episode happened in the Adraspalli town, on the edge of Hyderabad. The events were only brought to the knowledge of authorities a couple of days after. The police distinguished the adolescent as Bovini Anjaneyulu.
The 45-year-old deceased woman was distinguished as Gara Lakshmi who died after a long period of sickness. In any case, her family speculated that Anjaneyulu, an inhabitant of a similar town, performed black magic on her.
