FINALISTS OF SA RE GA MA PA (ZEE TV), THE YOUNG DUO ARE THE MOST SENSATIONAL CONTEMPORARY SUFI AND PUNJABI SINGERS TO EMERGE FROM INDIA IN RECENT YEARS.
Following acclaimed debut UK appearance at WOMAD Festival 2018, Hashmat Sultana return to the UK with a full live band of 5 prominent UK musicians – on their debut UK 2020 tour.
ABOUT HASHMAT SULTANA
Hailing from Punjab, India, Hashmat Sultana are the most talented Sufi singers to come out of India in the last two years.
Propelled into the limelight in 2016 as part of the Indian talent show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, the duo received rave reviews from prominent Bollywood composers Pritam Chakraborty and Sajid-Wajid for their beautiful and electrifying vocal abilities. Through their refreshing take on Punjabi folk and Sufi music, with a contemporary twist, Hashmat Sultana perform music of the Sufis with an incredible versatility and maturity beyond their years, appealing to a new generation of audiences.
