                                    AshaJ singer, songwriter, performer, model, actress,  Ambassador for ‘World Peace united nations’ ‘Ambassador for World Health innovation summit united Nations’ was born and brought up in the UK. She is taking the music/model/film world by surprise with her sutras  Bollywood Hollywood diverse looks and multi talented skills in singing in three languages Hindi, Punjabi and English. She has already attracted mainstream Ripper productions Sony Music Remixers who had a hand on remixing her song Diwana, in 2010. Who are the official remixers for Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Britney Spears to name some.and have produced her former hit ‘Candy Boy’
Coming from a musical background with family ties to the music industry Asha J was encouraged to sing and  perform with family members at gatherings, having renowned Ghazals singers attending family homes acquired her love and passion for Music. Her father a keen actor himself attended acting school and also sang with the hurmonium at gatherings.
The  inspiration and input from her father, cousin’s and uncles who since went on went on to become Pioneers of the ‘Punjabi Bhangra Music Industry’.  Group ‘Alaap’ With which Asha J decided to keep her connections unknown as she wanted to earn her achievements through her own merits and becoming the only girl to take a step foward,she started to embark her new journey and began writing at the tender Age of 15 and sending recorded demos.
Her luck began at a former record  company that she had began working for as break times became writing songs and she happened to be recognised by renowned reggae artists attending the company
This is where she was to make her first connections and leads to record first single ‘Breakloose’
Later connecting with ‘Bally Sagoo’s’ company her next Single ‘Kubh Milanga hum’ cover of reggae song ‘Silly Game’s by Janet Kay was in discussion after submitting her translation and recording but she wasnt quite ready at this point to peruse with Bally sagoos deal.
Feeling confident she continued writing and shooting videos and promoting herself.
Through trails and tribuls and conquering battles of heartbreak and dismay of her own through personal life and relationships having had moved away from home in the earlier years of her life and without  support of family networks her mother throughout remained her rock and stability to peruse and has stood by proudly .
Nothing  stopped the young soul Writing from the heart, life experiences made her more determined the songs brought comfort and hope to others too as messages began to arrive of the comfort  the songs were bringing especially ‘Asha For Peace’
A will to live and aspire her dreams in her heart knowing  she will reach that goal regardless of sailing alone.
She went to record  her first experimental album ‘Yours Truly ‘ with the likes of Pioneer Bhangra Music producer ‘Kuljit Bhamra’ working on one of the songs with her and to later release  the album on his label.
There were bigger movements in place by god as a few years  later she met her former group lead singer ‘Stereo Nation’ known as Taz who heard her vocal by chance at a club they were performing at as she was introduced  as a singer by former friend and club owner.
The big bang happened as a few days later she recieved a call to join forces with ‘Stereo Nation’ Asha J went International grateful for the big break and recognition.
Meanwhile she was coming  home to record the Album ‘Diwana the Album’  releasing in 2009 also became nominee at the punjabi Awards in West London.
She then went to perform at all the events listed  below throughout the UK
A brief  2 year break was taken to revamp  and self development she turned her attention on her passion on helping others which was a natural way of life for her and she earned a distinction qualification as a ‘Life coach practitioner’ to help people achieve their highest potential
Then to be picked up by charities across the world to represent as ‘Ambassador for World Peace’ as ‘Beauty speaks for peace’ projects and ‘foundation against Thalassemia’ India.
Also having an interest in law and human rights she trained with the Metropolitan and joined Uk Police inhouse victim Support units voluntary giving up her time a few days a week .
She came back with a bang with her music in 2017 November 25th as ‘Bobby Bola Uk Bhangra  Awards Organiser’ gave her a platform  for her return which was originally planned for 2018.
The timing couldn’t have been more prefect as her entry into the Bhangra Industry with her first single ‘Party girl ‘ was greatly received drawing In the audiences from Birmingham and afar the new Asian pop diva left a place in people’s  hearts.
The music career went on to busy 2018 with bookings at Melas shows events throughout Uk.

4, 3 year tour with Stereo Nation renowned International Group from the UK led to performances for crowds up to 70,000 and 24 hour Guinness book of record performances in Canada to name some.

6, Performance at Kensington  Palace for Mr Mittal Steel Tycoon billionaire on behalf of a Family birthday function
7, Charity events, as also an Ambassador for world Peace with charity  song ‘Asha For Peace’
An Ambassador also for kids with Thalassemia (Blood disorder) is a charity in India Asha J supporting blood camps through online awareness publicity as face of brand.

Recent attention in 2018 also came from her connections in Hollywood as former ceo of ‘Sony Music’ proposed Asha J to join the health and fitness industry in the USA, as an established artist and renowned figure they said she would be a good fit to reach Asian eastern countries as well as Usa and afar .The training and body sculpturing has been in place 10 months and has established her as a recognised gym body builder and inspiring many back into the gym.  She will conquer USA once her training and figure has transformed for the products in the pipeline.
2019 Asha J is working on her new single releases and also forming her organisation ‘Empowering Women International’ and was invited as a panel member speaker to the University of Westminster for the ‘International Women month Launch’ 2019, and is projecting many spokeswoman leadership projects events in the community in the coming months.
Lastest news Asha J became 100 inspiring women and was awarded for her endless positive contribution in the society communities, celebrated with the WAW HONORARY AWARD from Dr Pauline Long founder and inducted officially into the WAW Hall Of Fame book on International women’s day 8th March 2019 at Holiday Inn London Bloomsbury at the annual prestigious conference gala and dinner of the WAW – ‘Women Appreciating Women’ Since then three more awards 2 from ‘ Wages’ young Women and ladies Empowerment  a multicultural ladies night gatherings here i performed throughout the year.

I have now launched our Campaign under my “Empowering women International’ Movement. ‘#stepback #stepout #staysafe’  for young girls and ladies in the Entertainment business.Too many times i was asked for body exchange for movie roles or relationships in music and modelling which is recognised as emotional abuse as on refusal i was dropped or mistreated ,it was launched on 30th of June on a Birmingham Radio station. Alot more in store as blessings from local MP’s was appreciated in emails.
Latest singles have released for 2019  June ‘Crazy- Pyar ka Nasha’ a fusion in English and Hindi with a arabic dance club feel.
Also a collaboration in Reggae Dub roots with Mc Junior Bee ‘Maan vi ja na Sonya’ in three languages hindi English and Punjabi releases in September first week followed by  ‘Hungama’ A Hip hop fusion in hindi Bollywood style lyrics featuring a Mc will be one to watch out for this will release late October 2019
